Irene-Clare studied for her bachelor’s degree in Dance Studies/Sports and exercise science, at the University of Surrey Roehampton in London.
During the third and final year of her first degree studies she was accepted by the Pilates Institute of London to start her diploma. During the same year she was awarded by the British Association of fitness Instructors the professional diplomas of Gym Instructor, Fitness Instructor, diploma in exercise performance and advanced exercise performance.
With the completion of her bachelors’ degree of Honors she was accepted at Greenwich University for the Masters degree in Performing Arts Management. Prerequisite for her Masters was work placement, that was completed at the Dance Science department of the Laban Center, working for research and data analyst, as well as at the Bonnie Bird Theater (Laban Center), as part of the stage management team.
Before returning to Cyprus to open her own Pilates Studio that is successfully running for more than 4 years, she worked as dance and fitness instructor at the Sparrows Farm sports and recreation facility (Greenwich University). She is one of the first members of Dance Lab Nicosia, participating, choreographing and performing in several of their events. She is also member of the Lapithos Folk dance team and performed in several events in Cyprus and Greece. In Cyprus she was for four years the Pilates Instructor at the Hiltonia center, and she also worked as Pilates and/or Dance Instructor at the Belmambo Dance School, Marias Sophocleous Ballet School, Gymnet for Ladies and Body Science gym.
